Who is Steve Folland?
Birthplace? Enfield's Chase Farm Hospital
School Nickname? Fraggle (see my dancing)
Favourite film? Bugsy Malone - oh come on! little cars for little people, splurge guns, how much better would life be if Fat Sam's was just down the road?..
Favourite TV shows? Sopranos, 24, The Apprentice, Dexter, The Wire, Mock The Week, Grey's Anatomy, TV Burp, True Blood, Masterchef, Make Me A Supermodel (What?! Don't Judge Me), The Thick Of It, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Wallander, Silent Witness (Yes. Perhaps I watch too much TV)
Favourite band? Belle And Sebastian, Elbow, Blur
What is your favourite town in Hertfordshire? Bishop's Stortford. All that lovely parkland down by the river, all the old pubs, the market with best locally made victoria sponges ever!..
If you were not a presenter, what job would you want to have? A Dancer (what?)
What is the most you've ever spent on a pair of shoes? £90. They were for my wedding though and were half price. Half price!! Someone would pay £180?! They were so posh, each shoe came in it's own velvet bag!
What is your favourite bar or restaurant in Hertfordshire? Have you seen the new place on Bridge Street in Hitchin? It's called "Just Desserts". Guess what they sell? No starters. No mains. Just Desserts! Amazing. It stays open late, looks really cosy inside, the staff are lovely and they serve the best coffee and cakes/waffles/crepes/apple pie etc. Incredible. What a wonderful world. If you're the sort of person who when at a restaurant looks straight at the dessert section, you need to go. It's so much better than going to a kebab shop after a night in The George. For real food (BOO!) I love Baan Thitiya in Bishop's Stortford: amazing Thai food - and they bow to me when I walk in, which is what should happen in every place I enter really, so well done them for starting the fashion for it.
Who's the most famous person you've ever met? Not sure.. But I liked Fern Britton the best. She told me that if you pour Guinness in a tin of baked beans it tastes really nice. And she helped me pinch some exclusive Ready Steady Cook kitchen towel.
What are your favourite songs on your Ipod? Elbow's 'Powder Blue', Curtis Mayfield's 'Move On Up', Divine Comedy's 'National Express', Aberfeldy's 'Love Is An Arrow', Lisa Hannigan's 'I Don't Know' and the Sesame Street theme tune.
The gadget I use the most is? Hmm, a tie between my iPhone, Sky+ and my laptop. But I'd love it to be my ice cream maker.
Eastenders or Coronation Street? Beale or No Beale?
I love Hertbeat FM because...? Sure, I have to get up at 5am, but there's not a morning I don't want to. It's so much fun every day; we play the best music, have the best listeners.. You get to meet amazing people, do amazing things, work in Knebworth Park and share cookies with Chris Hollis and Dawn Easby... I feel very lucky. But tired.
