Man Seriously Injured in Snooker Club Fall

Friday, February 5th 2010 17:32

Herts Air Ambulance goes to the scene to treat the man after a tumble down some stairs

A man believed to be in his 60s/70s received life threatening injuries in the incident today at Hitchin's Snooker Club.

The Herts Air Ambulance was called to the scene at 2.14pm on Friday 5th February.

Ambulance Service spokesman, Gary Sanderson also added: "The helicopter was able to land right outside the snooker club in the market square and this certainly attracted a very large crowd of onlookers.

Paramedics worked closely with the doctor from the helicopter before the man was flown direct to the Addenbrookes hospital in Cambridgeshire."
