Funniest mishap on-air? When a well known author on popular music was interviewed live on-air, the subject unexpectedly turned to Matt Monro. When I said I couldn't understand why Matt Monro hadn't been more successful, I got the immediate and blunt reply "well he was too short and he liked the bottle too much". Oh dear - "beam me up Scottie!"
