By Road
The Welwyn to Knebworth to Stevenage road is the B197. As this road enters Stevenage it passes a well known hotel called the Roebuck Inn. Immediately opposite this landmark is Old Knebworth Lane. Take this road and follow it for approximately 1.5 miles up hill. You will pass under the railway and the A1(M), and past Knebworth Park Cricket Club on the right. Then, the Pump House is on the right just before a sharp left-hand bend. Please take care at this junction before turning into the Pump House drive!

By Rail
The Pump House is 2.5 miles from Stevenage station and 1.5 miles from Knebworth. Stevenage is served by GNER main line trains from London Kings Cross and WAGN local trains from Moorgate (weekdays)/Kings Cross (weekends). WAGN trains also stop at Knebworth. There are taxis available from both stations.

By Bus
The 44 and 45 bus from Stevenage Bus Station serves Old Knebworth Village, followed by a 5 minute walk along Old Knebworth Lane to the Pump House. There are 5 buses a day each way at approximately 2-hourly intervals
